This contemporary abstract landscape was created as an exploration of meditation, peace and silence. Rather than depicting a specific place, I wanted to create the feeling of somewhere quiet, where the mind can slow down and simply breathe. Again, the music by Wouter Veldhuis instrumental ambient album on forests was extremely inspirational in the completion of this artwork. Soft washes of pale yellow, blush, blue and muted earth tones create an understated landscape that reveals itself gradually. Its gentle palette and spacious composition make it especially suited to interior designers, contemporary offices, reception areas, private workspaces, hospitality interiors and modern homes.
